FAQ

Here are some of the most frequently asked questions. Youo’ll find the answers at the bottom of this page.

Where does the name Schwedenplatte come from?

Country of origin of the high energy-saving base plate is Sweden, where the temperatures in the winter months are approximately 10 ℃ less than in Germany. Therefore it was designed there in order to reach the U-value of a wooden house. This system was introduced to Germany several years ago, where the wooden houses are also increasingly popular due to their heat-insulating properties, their feeling of wellbeing and last not least their optically appealing appearance.

to the questions

What happens if there is a leak in one of the heating or water pipes?

Since the pipes are poured completely in concrete, a defect is not to be expected. In all the years of our business, such a thing has never happened.

Should, however, through outside influences (e. g. drilling) a defect appear, this can be solved by clutches. (But who drills into his floor?)
